WHAT IS REQUIRED?

Participants in global medical outreach teams with Power of a Nickel are required to have medical evacuation insurance. The cost is very reasonable when traveling with a non-profit organization. Evacuation costs rarely are less than $100,000 and typically much more depending on the location where evacuation is needed – thus we require minimum coverage for $250,000.

WHAT IS SUGGESTED?

We suggest trip cancellation insurance that will cover your trip costs if you need to call off your trip. This information is available at Squaremouth and can be purchased at the same time as the evacuation insurance. This is not required – but you should consider its purchase to avoid loss of funds should you to cancel a trip for any reason.
