India Trip Information

Dates – November 21 – 29, 2025

Group Leaders – Dr. Stan Grogg and Barbara Grogg, APRN

Our Partnership With India

In an effort to improve healthcare outcomes and address the shortage of skilled healthcare professionals in India, Power of a Nickel and Rehoboth Nursing School in Bangalore, India, have formed a strategic partnership. This collaboration aims to enhance healthcare education, increase access to quality care, and empower resource-challenged patients and communities.

India faces significant healthcare challenges, including a shortage of skilled healthcare professionals, limited access to quality care, and health disparities in resource-challenged communities. To address these challenges, innovative solutions and collaborative approaches are needed. By joining forces, we can make a meaningful impact in healthcare in this community. We enhance healthcare education and training for nurses and healthcare professionals. There is increased access to quality care for resourced-challenged patients and communities. Power of a Nickel also encourages our medical student team members to engage in research and innovation in healthcare to address pressing health challenges.

Through our partnership, we are making progress in several ways:

The training and capacity-building programs for healthcare professionals, resulting in improved skills and knowledge.
The establishment of community health clinics and outreach programs, increasing access to quality care for underserved populations.
The development of innovative healthcare solutions, such as tele-education.

We invite you to help make a difference in this effort to improve healthcare outcomes.
